In his final column, AA Gill believed the country was one of the worst places to be a cancer patient in Europe. When he asked his doctor why he couldn't get a treatment called immuno-therapy - which he believed could extend his life - he was told it's just "the nature of the health service".

Also on the programme, a NHS health expert says hospitals should test all pregnant women to reveal smokers who put their unborn baby's health at risk.
