It was hailed as a flagship speech on Brexit, Theresa May set out what she called a two year "implementation period" to smooth the Brexit process after the UK's official exit in 2019. The minicab app Uber has been told it will lose its right to operate in London. Transport for London says it will not renew the company's licence after the end of this month because of a number of failings linked to passenger safety. Uber has 21 days to appeal.
