Alexandra Burke performs live in the Radio 2 Piano Room and John Parr chooses the Tracks of My Years with music from Eric Clapton and Don Henley.

Alexandra Burke, the singer and Strictly Come Dancing star performs live in the Radio 2 Piano Room. It's been 10 years since Alexandra won the X Factor, where she performed alongside Beyonc茅 in the live TV final. Her winner's single, a cover of Leonard Cohen's 'Hallelujah' holds the current European record for single sales over 24 hours, selling 105,000 copies in just one day. It also went to Christmas number one in 2008 and became the biggest selling single that year in the UK. Her debut album 'Overcome' earned Alexandra three Brit Award nominations. In 2014 Alexandra made her West End debut when she starred as Rachel Marron in the musical The Bodyguard and in 2016 went on to star as Deloris van Cartier in Sister Act. Her latest album 'The Truth Is' is Alexandra's third studio album and features original tracks showcasing her incredible voice.

John Parr, the Grammy nominated British musician, chooses the Tracks of My Years with music from Eric Clapton and Don Henley. He's enjoyed two number one hits and is best known for his 1985 US number one hit single "St. Elmo's Fire (Man in Motion)". John has sold 10 million albums worldwide as well as written and performed twelve Hollywood movie themes, including "Three Men and a Baby", "Near Dark" and "The Running Man". He's due to go on a UK tour very soon with the English-
American rock band Foreigner performing at large venues including The Royal Albert Hall, the SEC Armadillo in Glasgow and Symphony Hall in Birmingham.
