Raising Films aims听to address the issues that prevent many (predominantly female) filmmakers who are also parents or care-givers from pursuing their careers and to challenge at a structural level the demands the film industry makes of all of us.
Raising Films commissioned the first-ever survey to look at the impact of parenting and caring labour for workers across the UK screen sector.听The resulting report - Making It Possible: Voices of Parents and Carers in the UK Film and Television Industry can be found on the Raising Films website.

Into Film is an education charity that puts film at the heart of children and young people鈥檚 educational, cultural and personal development.
Over half of UK schools engage with our programme of Into Film Clubs, special cinema screenings, and resources and training to support classroom teaching. Alongside rich online content for young audiences, this provides 5-19 year olds with inspiring opportunities to learn about and with film, and develop a passion for cinema.
