Live from the Radio 3 Blue Tent at the Edinburgh International Festival 2018
Soweto Kinch presents a live edition from the Edinburgh Festival featuring the quartets led by guitarist Joe Williamson and harpist Alina Bzhezhinska.
Returning to Radio 3's Blue Tent at the George Heriot School, Soweto Kinch presents a live edition of the programme from the Edinburgh International Festival. Young Scottish Jazz Musician of the Year guitarist Joe Williamson brings his quartet to the show with Alan Benzie, piano, Mario Caribe, bass and Alyn Cosker, drums. Also starring is Alina Bzhezhinska, harp tutor at the Royal Scottish Conservatoire, with her quartet paying tribute to the music of Alice Coltrane. In the line up, as well as Alina on harp, are Tony Kofi, saxophones, Larry Bartley, bass and Joel Prime, drums.
