This week brought news that the world is close to reaching a horrific equilibrium - with almost equal numbers starving to those fighting obesity. The figures are stark - around 800 million in desperation over food and over 700 million morbidly obese. The reasons behind both sets of figures are themselves grim reading; wars, famine, climate change and even taxation and technology. Accepting the figures is one thing - changing them is another. How radical is the world, individual governments and each of us prepared to be?
