Roddy Hart is back this week with another fantastic double bill 鈥� Eddi Reader and Chris Stills.
Eddi released her new album, 鈥楥avalier鈥�, in September to great acclaim. A collection of contemporary and traditional songs, the album was co-produced with husband John Douglas (The Trashcan Sinatras). Eddi is celebrating her 40th year as a live performer and her ability to delight and move audiences is as great as ever. For this show, Eddi will be joined by a full band including John and regular collaborator Boo Hewerdine.
Chris Stills is the son of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young鈥檚 Stephen Stills and he鈥檚 playing a string of solo UK dates this month to showcase his new album 鈥楧on鈥檛 Be Afraid鈥�. Chris was raised between California and France and also has a successful acting career featuring in films and on television in the US version of Shameless. Recently he鈥檚 contributed to the soundtrack for the Oscar-winning I, Tonya and has performed alongside the likes of Neil Young, Patti Smith, Beck and Burt Bacharach. His album is a masterful blend of roots-rock and this is a chance to enjoy the songs played live.
