Mary Anne has living legends Lamb, live in session. The band's forthcoming seventh album 'The Secret Of Letting Go', is due for release on 26th April via Cooking Vinyl. We've been loving the single Moonshine here on 6 and premiered the track on Mary Anne's show on International Women's Day.

Of this track, vocalist Lou Rhodes says: "The song is about first sparks of love in a heart that had forgotten what that felt like and was very much inspired by being in that part of the world, where the sickle moon lies on its back, instead of sitting up on its side as it does in the west. Somehow this aspect of the moon became a symbol of new beginnings and new love; the shimmering, tingling of endless potential. The moon really does shine differently out there!鈥�

Lamb are Lou Rhodes and Andy Barlow. They originally formed in Manchester in the mid 鈥�90s, when they fused multiple electronic music styles with Rhodes鈥� vocals for a decade. After taking a hiatus of several years, the band reformed and have since released have released new music (2014鈥檚 Backspace Unwind) and also toured their classic self-titled debut album on it's 21st anniversary.
