Roddy Hart presents a special night of new music, recorded at Drygate in Glasgow, from Ten Tonnes and Be Charlotte.
Ethan Barnett, aka Ten Tonnes, is a 22 year old musician from Hertford with an unerring knack for sharp lyrics and earworm melodies. His current single, Lucy, is all over the radio. Last year saw him tour with Stereophonics, Tom Grennan and his brother, George Ezra. He'll be performing songs from his self-titled debut album tonight ahead of an appearance at Glasgow's Summer Sessions.
Be Charlotte is the recording name of Dundonian singer-songwriter Charlotte Brimner who rose through open-mic nights in her hometown. With support from 成人论坛 Radio Scotland's Vic Galloway and 成人论坛 Introducing, she's gaining fans wherever she plays. Having just signed a record deal, Charlotte and band are set to tour with The Proclaimers later this year.
