We’ve yarns and laughter from around the country in this week’s Kintra. Rab Lennox confessed to mainly visiting places where the pipes and drums have led, so if there hasn’t been a competition, he’s probably never been. After months of teasing, the Kintra team have decided to get ‘Rab on the Road’. For his first outing, Sylvia Burnside introduces him to Groomsport - with its wealth of Ulster-Scots connections and, as far as she’s concerned, the place to find a husband.

Willie Hill catches up with volunteer Moore Blair to hear how he got on driving the players and caddies around at Royal Portrush during The Open.

Helen Mark visits her local agricultural show at Aghanloo, Limavady, where the sheep judges are traditionally from Scotland.

Carole Gilmore remembers sitting at home in Portavogie as a wee girl, listening to the fishermen singing over the Trawler Band Radio. Her daddy’s favourite hymn brings back many memories and is still the song closest to her heart.
