From orchestral dances and marches to songs and arias, Offenbach鈥檚 light-footed musical comedy to Verdi鈥檚 operatic tragedies, world premieres to traditional favourites, this year鈥檚 Last Night of the Proms is a spectacular climax to the world鈥檚 greatest classical music festival.
Charismatic American mezzo-soprano Jamie Barton, whose lustrous voice has established her as one of the most exciting performers of her generation, joins Sakari Oramo and the 成人论坛 Symphony Orchestra and Chorus to lead the musical celebrations.
