In 2017 Ollie opened Hide, set across three floors and with 500 covers, and was awarded a Michelin star within an incredible six months.

The three professional hopefuls have the enviable opportunity to learn from this revered chef and cook alongside his elite and trusted brigade. After the chance to learn his philosophy and techniques, the professionals must now try emulate this impeccable cookery when Ollie tasks them with creating a dish from a select larder.

The chefs then join Hide鈥檚 brigade and each take responsibility for one dish to be served during a packed service in his prestigious Michelin-starred restaurant. The contestants face the toughest challenge of their careers. The orders come in thick and fast and the dishes will only be served once Chef Ollie is satisfied they are perfect.

Finally, the chefs return to the MasterChef Kitchen to cook against each other and deliver a two-course menu to be judged by Monica, Marcus and Gregg. Using their incredible experience from Hide, they must reach new heights to create the best dishes of the competition so far to secure a place in The Finals.

Only the two strongest chefs make it through, taking them one step closer to the title of MasterChef: The Professionals champion 2019.
