Episode 4
Four new doctors arrive at Nonnatus House and ruffle some feathers. Fred and Reggie try to help an old man and his pigeons, while Dr Turner tries to solve the old man's cough.
Sister Julienne volunteers Nonnatus House to take part in a training initiative to help doctors with an obstetrics diploma. Dr Turner and Sister Julienne hope the exercise will remind the council how vital Nonnatus House is to the community and avoid the threat of demolition. The young doctors cause a lot of excitement but end up causing Sister Julienne to lose her temper. This may not be the success she had hoped for.
On his rounds, Fred comes across a street marked for demolition, but one house clearly shows signs of life. The sound of a cough leads him to the flat of 60-year-old George, who doesn't want to leave behind his beloved pigeon, Dot.
