The semi-finalists must impress the judges with their ultimate drinks party canapes before improvising with a scary store cupboard staple. Who will make the final?
It鈥檚 the semi-final of Best Home Cook and queen of home cooking Mary Berry, Michelin-starred chef Angela Hartnett and produce expert Chris Bavin continue to test the final four talented home cooks in the competition on their finest dishes.
Mary gives the quarter-finalists two-and-a-half hours to cook their ultimate drinks party canapes. The cooks need to produce 12 meat, 12 fish and 12 vegetarian bite-sized morsels that will showcase their individual personality and cooking style. The cooks are up against it as they try to impress the judges with beautifully presented, uniformly miniature-sized food that still packs a big flavour punch.
With 12 different canapes to taste and judge, whose party will impress Mary, Angela and Chris the most? In Angela鈥檚 eliminator to earn their place in the final, she has chosen a technically challenging recipe that also happens to be her husband鈥檚 favourite dessert.
