Anna Macleod chats with two guests about their favourite books. This week Skye Gaelic singer Eilidh Cormack and TV researcher Euan MacLean discuss books of special interest to them.

Both guests have chosen books which raise interesting points of discussion. Eilidh recommends a book by ME Thomas called Confessions of a Sociopath which examines behavioural disorders. Her second choice is How Not to be a Boy written by Robert Webb which could be described as the writer’s manifesto on masculinity.

TV researcher Euan MacLean has selected two distinctive books - Warehouse by Keith Gray which examines the reality of both isolation and togetherness. His second choice is an autobiography by Simon Reeves called Step by Step which Euan recommends because it contains experiences, insights and memorable moments from Simon Reeves’ career as a TV documentary maker.

At the end of the programme, Eilidh and Euan choose their favourite book out of the four discussed.
