Bobby Friction at Glastonbury

Bobby brings you live music from, Swami and M.I.A, from the Glastonbury archives and artist recollections from Osmani Sounds from The Nasha Experience and
from Steve Chandrasonic.

In a unique special show, Bobby brings you the sounds, the atmosphere and the soul of Glastonbury. Reliving memories with artists who have performed there, lots of live music form the archives and, true to the heart of the festival, experimental South Asian beats.

Bobby Friction has been a dedicated follower of Glastonbury Festival for over thirty years and on the approach to its 50th anniversary, all this week, he looks back at some of the most emblematic British Asian moments in its history.

Over the years, performers included Nitin Sawhney, M.I.A, Swami, Asian Dub Foundation to name a few - along with Bobby himself! We鈥檝e dug deep into the archive and also hear from the artists themselves.

In this show we'll be hearing from Osmani Sounds from The Nasha Experiance and from Steve Chandrasonic from Asian Dub Foundation about their recollections of the festival and why its so important to them along with live archive music sets from Swami, M.I.A and Shammi Pithia
