Onkar leaves the Rhondda for the bright lights of London as he links up with a major player in the Asian wedding planner scene to work on a two-day event and hopefully pick up some tips. The wedding is planned with military precision and despite splitting his trousers and temporarily losing the priest, Onkar manages to make it through the weekend without a disaster.

Fired up with enthusiasm he returns home to Brynna where he starts the delicate job of bringing up his father Dev's retirement from the business and chasing new leads. But after a recruitment drive for new talent spectacularly fails, he decides to team up with his father instead of arguing with him and the pair win a big contract in the lucrative Pakistani wedding market.

Can the father-and-son team put aside their squabbling and pull off their biggest wedding yet? And if they do will Dev finally hang up his apron and hand over the family business to his son and heir?
