Kate meets an ostrich who thinks he鈥檚 a zebra, Ben tries to identify 20 guinea pigs and Jean learns lions really can climb trees.
In today鈥檚 programme, Kate meets Blue, an ostrich with an identity problem. He seems to think he鈥檚 a zebra, and while he鈥檚 hanging out with his stripy friends, he鈥檚 neglecting his parental duties.
Giant otters Inny and Gordit are a handful, and cleaning their mucky enclosure is a major logistical challenge. It takes two days just to empty the vast pool of water before power washing the filthy glass can begin. Luckily, Ben gets to welcome the otters back in when all the hard work has been done by the keepers.
Jean Johansson discovers that lions will stop at nothing to get their food. She watches as these magnificent creatures jump and climb up trees to get their teeth into some hide. And Ben partakes in an unusual ID parade to help the park staff remember the names of their 20 guinea pigs. Can he tell Iris from Petunia?
