And it is still run by elderly politicians who are often leaders for life. More than thirty per cent of Africa's growing youth population are not employed, not in education nor receiving any training. It is the young who lie at the heart of Africa's untapped potential, and yet many believe African governments are failing to create jobs for them or provide them with the skills they need to prepare for the future.
