Highlights as the Rainbow Cup kicks off with a host of derbies. Fixtures include Ulster v Connacht, Leinster v Munster, Ospreys v Cardiff Blues, Dragons v Scarlets and Benetton v Glasgow.
A new competition, but familiar rivalries, as the Rainbow Cup kicks off with a host of derbies.
Ulster host Connacht, Pro14 champions Leinster take on Munster, Ospreys play Cardiff Blues and Scarlets travel to the Dragons. Elsewhere, Benetton play Glasgow and Edinburgh welcome Zebre to Murrayfield in the only cross-border matches of the opening round. And the best South African teams join pro rugby competition for the first time, with the Bulls playing the Lions and the Sharks away to the Stormers.
