Chelsie Giles is aiming to take a bronze medal in the judo while fellow Brit Bradly Sinden is going for gold in the taekwondo, plus Ireland's Brennan in boxing.
Emmet Brennan's boxing journey get's underway as he faces one of the favourites for gold, Uzbekistan's Dilshod Ruzmetov. The Irishman will be looking to upset the odds and progress through the rounds of the light heavyweight competition.
Britain's Chelsie Giles has the chance to become the first Brit in Tokyo with a medal in their hands, as she competes in the women's 52kg judo bronze match. 24-year-old Giles will face Fabienne Kocher for a spot on the podium. Bradly Sinden has already secured a medal, he's just not sure what colour it will be. The Brit is in the -68kg taekwondo final and is guarenteed at least a silver. He will face Uzbekistan's Ulugbek Rashitov for golden glory. The women's hockey also kicks off as reigning Olympic champions Great Britain look to overcome world number three side Germany.
