Wendy Daunt finds out why Derby Deaf Club鈥檚 building is closing down and what it means for the future of the deaf club. She meets some members to hear about how they feel about the closure of the building and the fond memories they have.
We visit the EastEnders set to meet Rose Ayling-Ellis, who plays Frankie Lewis. Rose gives us a tour of the set and shares her experience of being the first regular deaf actor on EastEnders. She also gives us an insight into how she鈥檚 feeling about being the first deaf contestant on the British series of Strictly Come Dancing.
From one star to another, Mary Hare School make the history books as pupils talk to astronauts on the International Space Station. They are the first deaf children to do this. The pupils each ask a question to the astronaut, who answers live over amateur radio.
Philippa Wynne is back to show us how recyclables can be used for arts and crafts activities with young children before being recycled. Her son, Liam, joins her to make a toy car out of toilet roll!
Finally, we visit Heathlands School for the Deaf to witness them smashing a Guinness world record!
