Greece's Megafires

Bethany Bell, who reported on the wildfires in Greece this August, returns to see how people are dealing with the consequences of the catastrophe.

This summer Greece was ravaged by thousands of wildfires, fanned by the country's worst heatwave in decades. Hardest hit was Greece's second largest island, Evia. The Greek government blamed climate change for the blazes, which destroyed huge swathes of forest. Bethany Bell, who reported on the fires this August, returns to Evia to see how people are dealing with the consequences of the catastrophe.
