Alistair Appleton is in the rural wilds of Scotland, catching up with house hunters who have carved out new, fulfilling lives in the beautiful countryside of Dumfries and Galloway, a world away from their former London addresses. He meets a couple who bought one of the lovely houses they viewed on their emotional 2020 property hunt with Sonali Shah and finds that their radical relocation has benefitted them in mind, body and spirit. Alistair then drops in on a past buyer from 2019, who was seeking peace and tranquillity to inspire his literary ambitions, and is delighted to discover that the dream of putting pen to paper has come true.
