TV Selling
The teams are set one of their most intense challenges yet: to sell live to the nation on one of the country鈥檚 leading TV shopping channels.
Lord Sugar summons the remaining candidates to the historic Greenwich market in south east London.
On arrival, the teams are set one of their most intense challenges yet: to sell live to the nation on one of the country鈥檚 leading TV shopping channels. The teams must identify the best products to sell and direct a promo to boost sales of one of their items, all leading to them taking over the airwaves in a one-hour prime-time sales slot live on TV, with the team that generates the most sales winning.
On arrival at the shopping channel, one team鈥檚 failure to charm the head buyer sees them miss out on the high-value star item. On the other side, the selection of some niche products leads to a struggle for the sales team.
Once on air, both teams struggle with nerves and have to contend with some interference from their team members in the gallery.
Back in the boardroom, it鈥檚 the money that matters, and Lord Sugar reaches for the off button when he tells another candidate, 'You鈥檙e fired!'
