Expect piano magic from Keith Jarrett, Nina Simone, Alan Benzie and Norah Jones, whose debut album ‘Come Away From Me’ celebrates its 20th Anniversary this year. Plus new releases from London based Afrobeat group Kokoroko and a cut from the new album by saxophonist Trish Clowes , a piece written in response to images/sounds captured by filmmaker Rose Hendry along the East Neuk of Fife coastline. Plus Richard Michael celebrates Mother’s Day as part of this week’s Song Book with the American folk tune Shortnin’ Bread taking in version by Fats Waller, Etta James, Mississippi John Hurt and Dave Brubeck.
