The Great Tapestry of Scotland, a young highland dancer & international tourists at The Gobbins

Join Helen and the team to hear all about The Great Tapestry of Scotland and to meet a young jetsetting highland dancer. Meanwhile, some international tourists visit The Gobbins.

Presented by Helen Mark with Rab Lennox, Carla Speer and Willie Hill. Helen joins us from her hometown in Scotland, fresh from seeing The Great Tapestry of Scotland, which documents 420 million years of the country's history and heritage. Carla meets a young highland dancer who has performed globally – as well as chatting with her mother and dance teacher. Meanwhile, Willie’s back at The Gobbins, this time with David Hume and visitors from Australia and Belgium.

The team loves to hear from listeners with their comments about the programme, or with a yarn or song or poem to share or an Ulster-Scots event to promote. You can contact them at kintra@bbc.co.uk.
