It's the semi-final, and the theme is avant-garde. The four remaining MUAs are welcomed back and introduced to the guest judge, Glow Up UK runner-up James McInerney.

In the industry assignment, the MUAs are given an avant-garde headpiece designed by Paul Mac Special and must complete a bold make-up look to compliment the headwear.

The creative brief is a 'Beauty in the Eye of the Beholder' challenge. The MUAs are required to create a look focusing on eyes that gives an insight into their true character.

Finally, the bottom two MUAs face off in a double winged liner challenge. When their time is up, the judges announce who is leaving the competition.
