Nicola is joined by Scottish novelist Andrew O'Hagan to hear about the songs which take him back to his childhood and first gig, the song he can't help singing along to and the song he wishes he'd written. Andrews shares stories about his writing which include his Booker Prize nominated novels Our Fathers, Be Near Me and The Illuminations and discusses his latest novel Mayflies, which has been adapted for 成人论坛 television and follows a friendship forged between two teenagers in a Scottish Ayrshire town in the 1980's which is tested as adults thirty years later.
