Singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and pop star Freya Ridings performs live alongside the 成人论坛 Concert Orchestra for Radio 2 Piano Room Month 2023, with her set that includes a special Cyndi Lauper cover.
A Brit School alumni, Freya is best known for her hit singles Lost Without You and Castles, and in January she released Weekends, her first new single in three years. She also announced that her second album, Blood Orange, will be released in May. Since breaking through in 2017, she's performed everywhere from the Brit Awards to Wimbledon to the original Radio 2 Piano Room in Wogan House!
Plus, naturalist and broadcaster Chris Packham chooses his Tracks of My Years with Ken all this week. Chris began presenting the award winning Really Wild Show in 1986, and he's now the host of the Springwatch, Autumnwatch and Winterwatch series for the 成人论坛. Chris also presents notable natural history series such as Nature鈥檚 Weirdest Events and Secrets of our Living Planet.
In 2017 Chris first shared his autistic diagnosis on TV, and his new two-part documentary, Inside Our Autistic Minds, sees Chris working with four autistic people and taking a deep dive into their minds, immersing himself in their everyday experiences, observing and learning about the ways they sense and interact with the world.
