Martin Scorsese, one of America's greatest living filmmakers, talks to Talking Movies' Tom Brook on the eve of the release of his latest epic, Killers of the Flower Moon.

Martin Scorsese, at age 80, one of America's greatest living filmmakers, sits down to talk to Talking Movies' Tom Brook on the eve of the release of his latest epic, Killers of the Flower Moon. The film, which has been getting excellent advance reviews, explores the orchestrated murders of members of a Native American tribe in Oklahoma in the 1920s. It reunites Scorsese with his long-time collaborators Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro.

Scorsese also discusses his efforts to establish the Film Foundation which is dedicated to film preservation. He has worked tirelessly to restore old movies, including the classic The Red Shoes made by the British film-making partnership Powell and Pressburger. The programme also reviews some of Scorsese's earlier films, taking stock of an influential director who has left an indelible mark on world cinema.
