Two novice kayakers Tessa Fleming and Irial 脫 Ceallaigh nervously prepare to kayak one of Ireland鈥檚 most daunting and precarious sea crossings. A short passage to the inner islands off the coast of Machaire Rabhartaigh, with their stunning sheltered caves, looks easy compared to the unrelenting, rolling waves to Tory island.
The presenters find out about the Gaelic culture of the island and, following a disrupted sleep and another treacherous Atlantic crossing, they are relieved to arrive back on the mainland. The onward journey continues with a quick visit to the stunning Doe Castle in Sheephaven Bay and an overnight stopover at the iconic lighthouse at Fanad.
