In Queensferry, on the east coast of Scotland, an American visitor is caught out by the tide and is barely conscious when the RNLI crew drag him out of the water.

On the south coast of Cornwall, the Lizard crew race to the rescue of four people who are stranded on some rapidly submerging rocks. And just along the coast, in Fowey, a video clip arrives at the lifeboat station of a yacht that is in danger of breaking up on the rocks - with no sail, no mast and no sign of anyone on board.
