Jools welcomes to the show Sheffield's Richard Hawley with a couple of tracks from his album In This City They Call You Love; Californian pop star Remi Wolf, who performs her single Cinderella from her album Big Ideas; Nia Archives from Yorkshire, performing two tracks from her Top 20 album Silence Is Loud; south Indiana singer-songwriter Stephen Wilson Jr, making his debut with his song Year to Be Young 1994 from his debut album s酶n of dad; and Somaliland's Sahra Halgan, who performs Sharaf from her third album Hiddo Dhawr.
Also, Jools chats to music producer, academic and founding member of Steel Pulse Mykaell Riley about a new exhibition at the British Library celebrating 500 years of black British music entitled Beyond the Bassline.
