Workaid

transforms the lives of young people in Africa. The provision of refurbished tools to schools and training centres enables young people to learn life changing vocational skills, empowering them to find gainful employment and escape poverty.

Meet Godfrey

Meet Godfrey
Godfrey left school with no qualifications. Using tools supplied by Workaid he trained as a carpenter at a vocational centre. After graduating he set up a small business making furniture. He can now support his family.

Vocational Training

Vocational Training
Workaid supports secondary schools and training centres with refurbished tools sent from the UK. Not all young people are academic, so the tools help provide a vocational education opportunity for them to become skilled in a trade or craft.

Building a Better Future

Building a Better Future
Almost 10 million young people in Africa leave school each year, two thirds of them without qualifications or job prospects. By equipping them with practical skills Workaid enables them to build a better future for their families and community.
