Ahead of their record-breaking fifth headline set, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin talks us through the band’s epic 25-year Glastonbury experience.

Ahead of their record-breaking fifth headline set, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin talks us through the band’s epic 25 year Glastonbury experience. Alongside snippets of archive interviews from the rest of the band, Chris details their journey from their debut in the New Bands Tent in 1999 to quickly progressing to the Other Stage the following year, followed by a performance at the Pilton Fete in 2001, which impressed Michael Eavis so much he invited them back to headline Glastonbury in 2002.

Since then, they have been endearingly coined the ‘Glastonbury house band’ having headlined in 2005, 2011 and 2016 and return to top the bill on the Saturday night this year. Chris also talks us through some of the artists they’ve enjoyed along the way, such as Pulp in 1995, Badly Drawn Boy in 2000 and Stormzy in 2019.
