Edith is joined by special guest Saoirse Ronan to co-host the show, chat about her new film The Outrun and pick some of her favourite music!

Saoirse Ronan is an Irish actress and multiple-Academy Award nominee. Her first role was aged 13 in Atonement, starring alongside James McAvoy and Keira Knightley. Since then she has appeared in Little Women, Lady Bird, Mary Queen of Scots, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Ammonite and more - and she has also made her stage debut in a production of Macbeth!

Her latest film, The Outrun, is out on 27th September. Saoirse stars as 29-year-old Rona, who returns home to the Orkney Islands after a decade away in London, and tries to come to terms with her troubled past.

To celebrate the release of The Outrun, and ahead of her other upcoming film Blitz directed by Steve McQueen, Saoirse joins Edith in the studio to talk about her career, life, and play some great tunes that have influenced her.
