Bramble scramble

Brambles are aggressive woodland plants. Timelapse footage shows how during growth, the shoots wave from side to side as they thrust ahead relentlessly. The bramble grows across the forest floor and its backwards pointing spines help it climb over obstacles. A bramble shoot can grow three inches a day. Soon the shoots will put down new rootlets to annex more territory for the bramble.
