Jungle police

Leopards are as much at home in the trees as they are on flat ground. Their powerful claws, strong flexible bodies, smaller size and balancing tail all help them to master this difficult habitat. Monkeys form noisy gangs in the forest to protect themselves from approaching predators, using a complex communication language that has been developed by adding information to basic alarm calls, informing all the monkeys when a leopard is nearby or in a tree. It's no wonder leopards learn to be invisible or nocturnal.
