Tom Dyckhoff talks to Professor Hermann Parzinger, President of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation, about the challenges of restoring the Neues Museum in Berlin. This mid 19th century building was destroyed by Allied Bombing in WWII and had lain in ruins for over 60 years, until David Chipperfield Architects undertook its rebuild 11 years ago.
