Euan joins researchers trying to find out where over a million woodcock spend most of their year. There is resident population of almost 80,000 breeding pairs in Britain. But in winter, migrants swell that number to almost a million and a half birds. Researchers are catching and tagging woodcock in the hope that they can find out where the majority of them go in the spring and summer.
