A visit to Norway (pt 2/2)
While visiting Norway, Barnaby Bear is woken up for an adventure. It is nine o'clock in the evening but it is still light. Travelling by car, Barnaby passes lakes and inlets of water called fjords. The car climbs higher and higher and it feels to Barnaby as if he is heading to the end of the world. He arrives in North Cape or Nordkapp, the most northerly place in Europe. Barnaby is standing high above the clouds and the views are fantastic. It is midnight but the sun is still out. The sun never sets in the summer months, meaning it is light both day and night. There is a further surprise the next day when Barnaby goes out in a boat and learns to fish for cod.
