Kirsty Lang and Lucy Ash visit the Pyrenees village of Aneres to explore its silent film festival and to discover how such a multitude of similar events have thrived throughout France. The organiser, Sylvain Airault, tells us how the festival has - so far – managed to dispense with any entry fees and subsist on voluntary donations and public money.
