The father I never had: Linford and Whit
Friends Linford and Whit have lots in common. Both came to Britain as immigrants from Jamaica and settled in Manchester. But there are also some big differences. Unlike Whit, Linford struggled to forge a bond with his own dad. Instead he turned to Whit - 21 years his senior - for help. Here he says thank you to Whit for being the father he never had.
