Dev from Radio 1 meets electronic music producer and performer Tim Exile to explore the range of technical equipment that can be used in a live performance. Dev experiments with the sounds of amps, guitar pedals and loop pedals, as well as demonstrating how you can integrate a tablet or smartphone into a performance. Tim then shows how you can evolve these basic principles by creating a live loop, adding effects and re-sampling the loop, to build up bigger and more experimental sounds.
