Nature of Scotland Awards – Species Champion
Over four weeks Euan meets the five nominees for the prestigious RSPB Nature of Scotland Species Champion Award. This week he meets the man who has gone to exceptional lengths to protect rare Corn Buntings on his farm. John Moir from Aberdeenshire believes the key to the survival of the corn bunting is winter seed food, summer insect food and safe nesting areas. Providing food throughout the winter and early spring improves adult survival rates.
