A new shop with a difference has been given the go ahead in Loughborough this week. Charnwood Borough Council has approved spending up to 120-thousand pounds to support the development of a Community Shop to help people who are struggling to make ends meet. The shop will offer savings of up to 70 per cent off normal retail prices by selling surplus products that larger retailers and brands can't use.
