Tony Jacklin: Mickelson criticism of Watson 'unfair'
Former Ryder Cup captain Tony Jacklin says US golfer Phil Mickelson's criticism of his team captain, Tom Watson, was "unfair".
Mickelson told a news conference Watson had not engaged with the players during their defeat by Europe and the team had departed from the winning ways of former captain Paul Azinger.
However Jacklin said the comments left Watson "embarrassed" and "could've probably been left to the privacy of the locker room".
