Obese person and an employer discuss new legislation
The European Court of Justice has ruled that - in some cases - obesity can be classed as a disability under European law.
The court says that if obesity could hinder "full and effective participation" at work then it could count as a disability.
Tim Stoodly owns several businesses and says "i believe" my clients would be "less inclined" to hire a cleaner who is larger.
Body Size Diversity Campaigner Kathryn Szrodecki, who is obese herself, says "I'd like to encourage every obese person to apply for a job with Tim and see how far we get".
