A Manchester DJ, who suffers from tinnitus, says the noise in his ears sounds like the "old internet dial-up tones".

House DJ Eddie Leader said the condition, which causes a constant ringing or buzzing in the ears, could be "very annoying" at times.

He said the noise mostly affected him at night, or when it was very quiet.
